            PERSONS desirous of joining the GARDES LAFAYETTE No. 2, now in progress of organization, are requested to apply to any of the following members, who will attend to their call for the same:

                                    VOLUNTEERS WANTED

            We have been accepted by the War Department and ordered to report at Richmond immediately with a full company of men.  We wish a few more men to fill up the Company.  A rare opportunity is now offered to those who wish to go into immediate service.

            Those wishing to join will call on us at the Store of PARKER, LAKE & CO., corner of Commerce and ____ streets.

                                                Wanted

            For the REGULAR ARMY of the CONFEDERATE STATES, Sound, Able-bodied, Unmarried Men, between the ages of 18 and 35.  Term of enlistment, five years.  Subsistence, clothing, medical attention, and $12 per month allowed the Soldiers.  Apply at the Recruiting rendezvous over Prince Albert’s barber shop, Royal street.

                                                Mobile Bay Chasseurs

            A LIGHT INFANTRY COMPANY, to be armed with Double Barreled Shot Guns, is being organized under the above name for the protection of the City and County of Mobile. The list is already half full, and those wishing to become members are requested to make early application to the undersigned where all information can be given.  All present expenses for the company and for all equipment will be borne by the members.
