          THIRTY-EIGHTH GEORGIA REGIMENT—The following casualties have occurred in a late battle in the thirty-eighth Georgia regiment:

            Co A—Wounded: Privates John Eidson, head and arm, prisoner; Newton Wates, thigh broken, prisoner: J F House, leg amputated, prisoner
