THE ENEMY AT SHIP ISLAND—We take the following from the Picayune of yesterday, but in connection would mention that the officers of the mail line boats have seen nothing of the sort reported below:
PASS CHRISTIAN, June 19, CSS Gipsy (Commodore Robinson’s) has arrived here from Biloxi.
She reports having seen two United States war steamers outside ship Island.
The United States flag was flying on the fort there. We are indebted to the courtesy of Com. Robinson for this dispatch.
