MADE FLANNEL
We saw, a few days
since, a piece of Home Made Flannel, which has been presented to the Sunsbury
Soldier’s Aid Society by Mrs. T. H. Lassiter.
It was in every way superior to the flannel we have been accustomed to
getting from the North. The piece
contained about 30 yards which had been presented to the Society to be made up
for the Volunteers from the county of Gates.
The Ladies of Gates are doing their full share in aid of the noble fellows
that have gone forth to the battle field.
