DEATHS.
Died.—In the city of Memphis, Tenn.,
on the 16th of March, 1862, William J. Adams, son of George Adams,
esq., formerly of Greensborough, in the 20th year of his age. His afflictions were severe and protracted,
yet he bore them without a murmur. He
was a brave and patriotic soldier, a kind and loving brother, and beloved by
all who knew him. He left a fond father,
mother and sisters to mourn his loss, yet they will meet him where parting is
no more.
