DEATHS.

Died.—In the city of Memphis, Tenn., on the 16^th of March, 1862, William J. Adams, son of George Adams, esq., formerly of Greensborough, in the 20^th year of his age. His afflictions were severe and protracted, yet he bore them without a murmur. He was a brave and patriotic soldier, a kind and loving brother, and beloved by all who knew him. He left a fond father, mother and sisters to mourn his loss, yet they will meet him where parting is no more.
