DIED—In the hospital at Richmond, Va., September 12, 1862, Benton R. J. Craven, in the 27^th year of his age. The deceased was a member of Capt. McAllister’s Company, 46^th N. C. Regiment. He had long been a member of the Methodist E. Church, and died in the full assurance of a blissful immortality.
