Died—In camp, near Richmond, Va., on the 5^th of August last, of fever, Julius Kearnes, of company H, 38^th Regiment N. C. Volunteers, in the __ year of his age. He had ever been a dutiful son, was a brave and worthy soldier, and his death is lamented by a large circle of friends and relatives.
