Holmes are in the Provisional Army of Virginia – General Theopholis
H. Holmes, Gwynn and Gatlin are in the Provisional
Army of North Carolina. Generals Pillow
and Anderson have appointments as Major Generals in Tennessee. Major General Jere
Clemens commands in Alabama.
