PICKING UP SHOES—A gentleman from the eastern portion of Virginia says that the Virginia and North Carolina troops picked up eight hundred pair of shoes, at a point near the Great Bethel fight, the same having been thrown away by the fleeing Lincolnites.  They appear to have made good use of their feet on the occasion.
