BRILLIANT SKIRMISHING.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. May 24, 1862.

            Editor Tribune—On yesterday afternoon Lieut. Nethercutt with eighteen men of a company of Partizan Rangers ambuscaded a company of the enemy near Mrs. Foscues, nearly opposite to Pollocksville on this side the Trent; killed three certainly and captured five muskets, and the accoutrements of the three men killed.  The enemy retired and left their dead in the road.
