“Fort Hill Guards”

We learn that on Monday night a volunteer corps was organized at Pendleton under the name of the Fort Hill Guards. Fifty or sixty sons of Carolina have enrolled themselves as members. The following officers were elected:

WALTER GWYNNE, Captain

Dr. P. H. E. SLOAN, 1^st Lieutenant

GUY DANIELS, 2d Lieutenant

Dr. JOSEPH TAYLOR, Ensign

Dr. T. J. PICKENS, Surgeon
