J. B. Anderson Died in Anderson Monday

Anderson, June 22—(Special)

            J. B. Anderson, of Piedmont, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. B. B. Babb, Monday afternoon.  Mr. Anderson came over to visit his daughter, and was taken ill.  He was a veteran in the war between the States, and has a good record as a soldier.  He was 73 years of age, and a man greatly beloved in his community.

            There are seven daughters surviving Mr. Anderson: Mrs. C. A. Scott, Mrs. J. M. Lindsay, Mrs. L.L. Anderson, Greenville; Mrs. E. C. Davenport, Greer; Mrs. D. B. Chandler, Miss Helen Anderson, Newberry; and Mrs. B. B. Babb, of this city.  The funeral was held this afternoon at the home of Mrs. Babb, conducted by Rev. P. S. McChesney, pastor of the Central Presbyterian church, and the interment will be in Piedmont, where the wife of Mr. Anderson is buried.
