            VIRGINIA HOSPITALITY- A correspondent of the passage of Alabama and Mississippi troops through Winchester says:

            Those who had on dirty shirts were provided with a change, and the ladies of the house where they staid [sic] had the soiled ones washed out and ironed for them by morning.
