RESIGNATIONS ACCEPTED—The following resignations of United States army officers were accepted on June 1st: Major William H. Bell, Ordnance; Captain Bonneycastle, Assistant Quartermaster; Captains Field, of the Second Cavalry, Schroeder, of the Third Infantry, Steele, of the second Dragoons; Lieuts. Cooke, of the Eighth Infantry, Corley, of the Sixth, Adelts, of the Seventh, Wright, of the Ordnance, and Alexander, of the Engineers.

            Col. Taylor, Quartermaster U. S. Army, stationed at Fortress Monroe, has resigned and left for New York.  Col. T. is a nephew of the late President, Zachary Taylor.
