____ Cavalry Company
has been organized this week, and the following Officers elected. Thos. E. Upshaw, Captain; Chas. H. Riddick, 2nd
Lieutenant; Elisha L. Ballard and Wm. F. Wise, 3rd Lieutenants.
Capt. Upshaw has
labored with much industry to get up this Company, and will make an excellent
Commander.
