A CARD
In its selection of FIELD OFFICERS the First Volunteer Regiment will look for men who have intellectual and physical ability, who are pretty thorough tacticians and disciplinarians AND MEN OF NERVE. If these are proper requisites in these war like times, we think them eminently ____ in the ticket nominated, to wit:
GEORGE M. BONNER, COLONEL
WM. A. BUCK, LIEUTENANT COLONEL
P. J. PILLANS, MAJOR
They will be supported by hundreds of the 1ST VOLUNTEER REGIMENT
