A conference between Governor Magoffin, J. C. Breckenridge, R. Hawes, ex-Senators Crittenden and Dixon, Judge Nicholas, has resulted in an agreement to recommend the Legislature to make an appropriation for arming the State, under the direction of a Military Commission, composed of the Governor, Inspector General, and another person to be selected by the Unionists.  It is supposed it will require $3,ooo,ooo to arm  the State.
