            GEN. PETTIGREW—We are highly gratified to learn that Gen. Pettigrew is rapidly recovering from the wounds he received in the battle of Seven Pines.  Two of his wounds have healed and the other is improving, though his right arm is still paralyzed.  He has reported for service.
