A REGIMENT TO BE RENDEZVOUED IN PORTSMOUTH

The undersigned, having been authorized by the Secretary of war, to raise a regiment to be rendezvoued at Portsmouth, will receive companies of 64 and upwards, for the Confederate States Army.  Term of three years, or the war.  A credit of one year will be given to all 12 months volunteers.

The following are the advantages of joining this Regiment:

1st.  Location, at or near Portsmouth.

2nd.  A bounty of $50 to each man that re-enlists or enlists.

3rd.  Furloughs of 30 days to all who re-enlist.

On companies being made up, (minimum 64) they will immediately organize, select officers and inform the subscriber.  Address ____  ____, 14th Reg. Va. Vol., Jamestown P. O.
